The Shape of Becoming

Within a cathedral of steel, a human presence takes shape from molten metal and unfinished machinery. Fire pours through the figure like a living spine, while cool blue light moves through the surrounding structure, suggesting breath, possibility, and a world beyond the furnace. Small workers stand beneath their immense creation, both its makers and its witnesses. Neither fully human nor entirely machine, the figure holds a moment of becoming. The work asks whether manufacturing only transforms the materials around us, or whether, with every act of making, we are also shaping ourselves.
